Ken’s Handcrafted Jewelry

Ken of Ken’s Handcrafted Jewelry has been building and creating with his hands for as long as he can remember. Raised in a creative household—with a mother who was an artist and designer and a father who worked with precision as a dentist—he was surrounded from an early age by the value of craftsmanship, artistry, and attention to detail. These early experiences shaped his lifelong passion for working with his hands and laid the foundation for his future as a skilled jewelry maker.

After studying business at East Carolina University, Ken went on to earn a degree in Film and Video Production from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He began his professional life as an investment banker and stockbroker in Atlanta, a career that shifted course after the financial collapse following 9/11. This pivotal moment brought him back to his creative roots and eventually led to the founding of Ken’s Jewelry in 1990.

Today, Ken lives closer to his origins along the coast of Eastern North Carolina, where he has built a life centered around family and creative expression. Through Ken’s Handcrafted Jewelry, he finds joy in visualizing and bringing his unique designs to life—each piece a reflection of his craftsmanship, personal journey, and deep appreciation for artistry.
