Solmate Socks
Founded in 2000 by Marianne Wakerlin, Solmate Socks began with the simple idea that “Life’s too short for matching socks.” As a lifelong textile artist, Marianne saw the potential for beautifully crafted socks made right here in America. After her retirement in 2015, her son Randy and daughter-in-law Lisa continued the family tradition, crafting treasured, wearable works of art.
Solmate’s colorful mismatched socks are made with warmth, comfort, and individuality in mind. The brand is also dedicated to giving back—donating socks to homeless shelters, family services organizations, and refugee centers across the U.S. for over 20 years. Every product is hand-designed by a talented team using a carefully selected palette of recycled yarns, making each collection a reflection of the love and creativity behind the brand.
Solmate Socks isn’t just an apparel brand—it’s a destination for those who embrace creativity, confidence, and the joy of wearing something that’s full of character.
