Hand printed tea towels by The High Fiber in Asheville, NC

The High Fiber

Daphne and Ed Cohan are the creative duo behind The High Fiber, an Asheville, North Carolina–based studio dedicated to creating illustrated, hand-printed home goods that celebrate the joys of simple living. Together, they merge artistry and sustainability in every piece they produce.

Daphne is the designer and seamstress, carefully crafting each item with thoughtful detail and care. Ed brings each design to life through the meticulous process of hand-pulled screen printing. Their work is defined by a commitment to environmentally conscious practices—they use only natural fibers, eco-friendly inks, and burn their silkscreens the old-fashioned way: with the power of the sun.

Inspired by the rhythms of home and nature, Daphne and Ed’s creations reflect a lifestyle rooted in creativity, intention, and joy. From kitchen towels and napkins to wall art and accessories, each piece from The High Fiber carries a story and a handmade touch.

The Cohans live in Asheville with their three children, two dogs, and two cats—a lively, love-filled household that continues to inspire their work every day.
