Janet Zug has been captivated by the dynamic and ever-changing nature of glassblowing since first working with the medium in 1990. Drawn to both its unpredictability and precision, they embrace the challenge of transforming molten glass into high-quality, functional designs.

In 1992, Janet founded Zug Glass, spending over a decade honing her craft in rented studios and assisting in workshops at Penland School of Craft in North Carolina and Corning Museum of Glass in New York. In 2004, she established her own hotshop in Vermont, gaining the freedom to fully explore her artistic vision.

Inspired by vibrant jewel tones, her work is designed to bring joy, creating pieces that are both beautiful and functional. For her, the greatest reward is seeing others experience happiness through her creations.
